I Choose Faith Love Hope Joy
I choose to forgive despite how much it hurts but I choose
to forgive so that I may be free
I choose to be joyful despite the heaviness on my heart but I
choose to be joyful so that my heart may be free
I choose to be hopeful despite how hopeless it seems but I choose to
be hopefull so that my joy may be complete
I choose to love even when I am not shown love but I choose
to love because it is the greatest gift to give
I choose to be a victor even when I am victimized but I choose
to be a victor because the battle is the Lord’s
I choose to give thanks even when there seems to be nothing
to be thankful for but when I give thanks I receive blessings from above
I choose to be kind even when I am on the receiving end of
hatred because I understand that acts of kindness can change people and it can
change the world
I choose to be faithful in the hardest of times so that I may
reach the Promised Land in the days of my youth and enjoy every blessing that
has been set aside for me
I choose to believe that I am being held in the palm of God’s
mighty hand; and that today, tomorrow and each day thereafter I will dwell in the
secret place of the Most High and remain stable and fixed under the shadow
of the Almighty God!
